Life Saving Winches: Rescue Boat / Life Boat and Life Rafts

The Ned-Deck Marine life saving winches are designed in accordance with all classification rules and standards, they can be supplied as manual-, electric- and hydraulic operated winches. Additional functions are available, such as quick return units and constant tensioning systems. The winches can be delivered as separate units or integrated in the total system.

Technical data will be provided upon request. The characteristics of these winches very much depend on the application for which they are being used for.

Replacement Winches

Ned-Deck Marine has opened a winch department that specifically deals with the sales of loose winches for replacement projects. More and more clients decide to replace often more than 20 year old winches for new ones. In those cases the davit steel structure as well as the lifeboat are still in a operational  condition but maintenance  and reliability of the old winch proofs to be a problem.
A team of experienced engineers will assess the existing deck situation and with our new range of high performance winches a suitable, plug and play, option can be presented.
Winches can be supplied as a loose items but installation, commissioning and testing by an experienced team can also be offered.
