Flat Rack Mobile Davit

Fast assembly and easily removable.

Ned-Deck Marine has developed a mobile davit system that is mounted on a 20ft flat rack.

The versatile hydraulic davit system can be easily installed and/or relocated to any vessel or port location. The standard 20ft sized base makes transportation and placement a simple operation. Eight ‘quick locks’ allow the system to installed and removed quickly - without the need for welding. Depending on the requirements, the davit can be placed both ‘straight’ and ‘parallel’ to its flat rack base.

The pivoting davit system comes with an integrated adaptive transformer that can be set connected to any common power source. After connecting the power, the system is ready to be used.

The mobile aspects allow the multifunctional davit to be deployed anywhere in the fleet or port. Alternatively it can be easily ‘swapped’ out for alternative NDM products or uses of deck space. NDM also offers a ‘rotation’ program instead as a alternative to ‘annual inspections’ or repairs. All together this system offers our customers reliable flexibility to further customize the use and deployment of their safety equipment.

PRHE davit system details
The hydraulic pivoting davits of the PRHE series are so-called “plug-and-play units” all guaranteeing easy installation on board. The system is suitable for safe and efficient launching and recovery of a fully manned rescue boat against unfavorable conditions of trim of up to 10 degrees and a list of up to 20 degrees either way.

Like all NDM products the PRHE series meets the latest IMO/SOLAS requirements and LSA Code as well as the European Council Directive 96/98 EC on Marine Equipment (M.E.D.).
